INSIDE /OUTSIDE MEDIA INITIATIVE

Everything we do leads back to bridging the divide between 'inside' and 'outside'. We bring expansive, transformative media to incarcerated learners through our partnership with Edovo with the potential to reach over 1million incarcerated learners each day in more than 1500+ jails and prisons nationwide. We work with Edovo because they ensure that all content is available for free to every learner.

By curating content that challenges perspectives, teaches digital and financial literacy, and encourages self-reflection, we support incarcerated individuals in preparing for an empowered transition home—while building shared media experiences that connect learners across the walls with their families

Our core pillars are:

  • Mind-Expanding Learning: Curated films, documentaries, and educational media designed to spark debate, unlock creativity, and build skills vital for personal growth and re-entry.

  • Connection Beyond the Walls: By sharing identical media experiences with family members on the outside, we create a shared framework for conversation, empathy, and mutual understanding.

  • Continuity & Support: Bridging the gap between incarceration and re-entry through sustained narrative threads, enabling families to stay aligned and supportive throughout the transition home.

We always have new projects and partnerships in the pipeline

so check back regularly to see what's cooking!
